Juazerinho Niobium Project
Paraiba State, Brazil
Summit Minerals’ Juazerinho Niobium Project is located in Borborema Pegmatitic Province, in Paraiba State in Northeast Brazil, an area that is renowned for tantalum, REE’s and beryllium and less than two hours from the city of Campina Grande, which is serviced by an international airport.
Hercules North and South
Lithium Projects
Minas Gerais, Brazil
Summit Minerals is developing two key lithium projects, Hercules North and Hercules South, with a total combined area of approximately 19,510 hectares in the northeastern Lithium Belt in Minas Gerais, Brazil.
Arataphira REE & Niobium
Project
Minas Gerais, Brazil
The Summit Arataphira REE project covers a total strategic and dominant area of 29,267 ha in the mining friendly and mineral-rich state of Minas Gerais. It is located in the west of the state of Minas Gerais, approximately 50 minutes drive from the town of Araxá.
T1-T2 Rare Earth Project
Minas Gerais, Brazil
Summit Minerals’ 100%-owned T1-T2 REE project covers approximately 641 hectares in Southern Minas Gerais, Brazil, in an area known for its rich mineral deposits. Thick, well-developed saprolite clay horizons, crucial for Ionic Absorption Clay (IAC) deposits, indicate potential for a large-scale rare earth deposit.
Santa Sousa Rare Earth Project
Paraiba State, Brazil
The Santa Sousa Project in Paraiba state covers approximately 7,901 hectares over 4 tenement packages, in the Borborema Pegmatitic Province in Northeast Brazil.
Castor Lithium Project
James Bay Lithium District, Quebec, Canada
In July 2023, Summit Minerals signed a binding term sheet to acquire 80% of the Castor Lithium Project, with a landholding over 118km2 in the prolific James Bay Region of Québec, Canada. The project lies in the world-class lithium-caesium-tantalum pegmatite province, and has never before been explored for lithium.
Stallion Uranium Project
Western Australia
The Stallion REE Project is located in south-central Western Australia, around 200km northeast of Kalgoorlie. The Project hosts a historical Inferred Resource (JORC 2012) for the Stallion uranium deposit of 9.9 million tonnes (Mt), for 3.3 million pounds (Mlb) grading 150ppm U30811. SUM is working toward restarting this uranium resource.
Phillips River Lithium Project
Ravensthorpe, Western Australia
Summit completed a high-resolution aeromagnetic survey over the Phillips River Project located near Ravensthorpe, WA, in early 2023. MagSpec is collecting aeromagnetic and radiometric data over similar rocks to Allkem’s (ASX: AKE) nearby Mt Cattlin lithium operations.
